City of Miami Solid Waste to Conduct Regular Trash, Recycling and Garbage Pick-up during the Labor Day Holiday, Monday, September 3


(Miami, Florida)—The City of Miami Department of Solid Waste will be conducting regularly-scheduled garbage, recycling and trash pick-up during the Labor Day Holiday, Monday, September 3, 2007. Those residents whose garbage, trash and recycling are always collected on Mondays should place their items out as they usually do. Residents with questions or concerns are encouraged to call 311. 

The mini-dump will also be open on Monday, September 3, 2007.  The city’s mini dump is located at 1290 NW 20th Street.

Residents are reminded to:

-   Separate vegetation from other trash and bulky items to expedite the garbage pick up effort. 

-   Garbage should be placed in an accessible location. Please do not park in front of the garbage or place any other items around it.
