(Miami, Fla.) – Miami Mayor Manny Diaz, City Manager Pete Hernandez, and Fire-Rescue Chief William “Shorty” Bryson today delivered supplies donated by local residents for the Peruvian humanitarian relief effort. City officials dropped off the items at the Peruvian Airforce Headquarters, located at 7050 NW 51 Street.

In solidarity with the victims of the earthquake in Peru, the City of Miami held a collection drive with drop off points at several City fire stations.  Area residents responded by donating much needed non-perishable items.
