Florida Licensing on Wheels Makes
Final Stop at Miami City Hall


-Residents can take advantage of this one stop shop
to apply for new or replacement driver licenses-

(Miami, Florida)-The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) FLOWmobile is on the road again and will make a stop on Friday, August 17, 2007 at Miami City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. As a State of Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicle board member, Commissioner Joe Sanchez made sure that Miami City Hall would be the final stop of this Five Star Tour.

The Florida Licensing On Wheels (FLOW) is a mobile unit that is equipped with the technology and ability to bring valuable DHSMV services right to the customers in more than 20 different Florida locations including: driver license renewals; duplicate driver license; driver license name and address changes; identification card; vehicle registration and tag renewals; and disabled parking permits all in one location.

Fees are as follows:

Identification Fees

Original ID card   $  3.00 Kid ID cards (5yrs. or older) 
Renewal, Duplicate or
Address change 
 $10.00
Transfer Out Of State    $20.00
Renewal    $15.00  
If License Expired      $  1.00 Late Fee
Lost or Address Change   $10.00
Renewal CDL      $50.00 plus $5.00 per endorsement

Individuals interested in utilizing the services, must bring Original Birth Certificates, Permanent Resident card, or Immigration documents and Social Security cards.

Payments can be made in cash or checks.  No credit cards or debit cards are accepted.

The FLOW Five Star Tour kick-off event started in Orlando, August 13, 2007 and will end in five different locations throughout Florida on August 17th and is a cooperative effort between the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, AAA and law enforcement.
