The Clean Up Miami Program's mission is to improve the visual environment of the streets, lots, and byways of the city through education, enforcement and actual clean-up activities. The Solid Waste Department has identified several target areas for daily cleaning within: Liberty City, Little Haiti, Allapattah, Wynwood/Edgewater, Overtown, Downtown, Little Havana, Flagami, Model City and  the West/East Coconut Grove area.

One Truck with a driver that picks up tires every day.
One Truck with a driver that is sent to Litter Busters every day to assist with the Homeless clean up program.

*ANY LEFT OVER EMPLOYEES ARE PLACED IN A MOBILE CREW BASED FROM SOLID WASTE TO CLEAN PROBLEM SPOTS THROUGHOUT THE CITY ON A DAILY BASIS. (4-12 EMPLOYEES)

Work Duties: sweep streets, rake leaves, bag the trash, general clean up.
