The City of Miami's Solid Waste Department provides front door service for those citizens who require special assistance in taking their refuse to the curb.  In order to be eligible for this service, a Doctor’s Certificate must be provided and there may not be any other able-bodied residents living at the premise.

The citizen must fax a doctor's certificate to: 305-960-2815 Attn: Customer Service or mail to:

 Once we receive the certificate we will send an inspector to verify such certification and your home will be placed on our Special Assistance list for garbage and recycling pick up.
