As the largest city in South Florida, the City of Miami purchases a variety of goods and services. In all our procurement activities with actual and potential vendors, every effort is made to enhance the City's reputation of progressive and business integrity and fairness and equity to all vendors.

The Purchasing Department has been established to administer the procurement process in behalf of the City. It's responsibilities include:

• Acquisition of supplies, materials, equipment & services required by all City departments.

• Disposition of surplus City owned personal property.

• Administration of the City's Minority / Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) Program.
