    Ms. Santovenia joined the City Attorney’s Office in September, 1999 as a member of the Litigation Section, handling primarily commercial, tort, civil rights and construction litigation.

  
She began her legal career as a judicial law clerk and as a litigation associate at a top-ten Philadelphia-based civil litigation firm. Prior to joining the City Attorney’s Office, she focused her practice on representing both corporate and government agency clients in areas including complex commercial litigation, environmental litigation, and real estate, banking, and appellate law. She has worked on such significant issues as Everglades restoration on behalf of the Miccosukee Tribe Of Florida and has been active as a planning board member of the business and environmental law committees of the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division.
