Born:

Santa Clara, Cuba

    Ms. Bru joined the legal staff at the Office of the City Attorney in the fall of 1989 assigned to the Labor Division handling the prosecution of employee disciplinary matters before the Civil Service Board and representing management at arbitration hearings.  She has also been assigned to the Commercial Division handling primarily real property transactions, asset management and development and to the Litigation Division handling the defense of personal injury cases and Federal Civil Rights claims, including police civil liability.  Recently she was reassigned to the Labor Division to handle the defense of federal and civil employment litigation.
