On behalf of our entire team, it is a pleasure to welcome you to the Office of Capital Improvements & Transportation Program (CITP) website. Whether you are a new resident or existing city resident, business owner, community partner, or simply visiting our great City, we invite you to explore the myriad of neighborhoods our office has improved since inception. Our vision is simple but effective " Building Better Neighborhoods."
The Office of Capital Improvements & Transportation Program works on various projects in various stages of design and/or construction. Some of our greatest achievements have been the Marine Stadium Flex Park, College of Policing, Museum Park, Little Haiti Soccer Park, Fire Station No. 13, Dinner Key Marina New Dockmaster Building and so much more. We have also improved traffic safety by constructing new traffic calming devices such as traffic circles, speed humps and raised intersections, as well as enhanced bicyclist mobility by integrating bike lanes and share the road signage into our roadway projects. We continuously focus on core planning principles and fundamental urban needs: infrastructure, transportation and quality of life.
As the director of Capital Improvements & Transportation Program, it is a privilege for me to work with a team of distinguished professionals in the areas of architecture, engineering, transportation, construction, public relations, and legislation contracts compliance who administer the capital improvement program working in concert with other City departments, elected officials, the community, other governmental agencies and stakeholders. Together, we strategically address issues and look for innovative approaches to meeting the needs of our constituency groups.
Thanks for visiting our website.
