Inspection requests should be made by the authorized permit holder or his/her designee.

The Building Department has various ways of requesting inspections:

* By dialing (305) 416-1100 (Press option 1) for the automated system (IVR)

* By dialing (305) 416-1100 (Press option 2) for the clerical staff.

* By accessing our eBuilding Online (Press online permit / plan and inspection address or online access at the top of the form)

* By sending an E-Mail with the information described below.

In order to request an inspection, via E-Mail, you need to provide us with your permit number, PIN number, inspecting discipline, inspection type, and an E-Mail address.
