CARMEN MATOS

Ms. Matos is an HR Leader for Global Staffing with MasterCard Worldwide focusing on recruitment in their offices throughout Latin America, the Caribbean and their regional office in Miami. Previously, Ms. Matos was a Senior Associate in Korn/Ferry International’s Miami office, where she worked in the Consumer Practice. In addition, she focuses on key international placements with clients, partnering with Korn/Ferry’s offices to recruit top executives. A native of Cuba who immigrated to the United States at age five, Ms. Matos believes in the importance of helping others build bridges into society through education, job achievement and community involvement.

Being of Service to people and her community is of pivotal importance to Ms. Matos. She is on the board of board of Our Kids, Inc., a Florida non-profit corporation, created in response to the need for local control and leadership of the child welfare system. Previously, she has served as Vice President of the League of Women Voters for Miami-Dade County, on the United Way’s Women Leadership Initiative’s Executive Committee, as well as on several committees working for civil rights and justice for minorities and underprivileged.
